§ The Studio

Built in the field.

KURACONV Studio wasn’t founded in a film school. Maria Rosa and Diogo built it the way they’ve built everything, in the field, by doing, often with more conviction than resources. Kitchens, shop floors, businesses of their own. They learned early that an image isn’t decoration, it’s the difference between someone walking past and someone deciding. That instinct, earned in the real world, is now pointed at cinema.

Maria Rosa shapes the emotional architecture of everything KURACONV makes. Her eye decides what stays, the mood, the texture, the breath of a frame. She built and ran her own brand long before she built a film, and she directs from that instinct: what makes someone feel a thing, and act on it. Brand identity, editorial fashion, sound, she moves between them as one language.

Diogo directs the pipeline, briefing to final cut, and builds the spine beneath it. Identity locks, continuity filters, shotlists, sound design: the architecture that lets AI generation behave like cinema instead of looking like AI. He's an operator first, a director second, and the studio runs on the systems he writes.
